Your WeeConnectPay dashboard is the read-across view of everything your stores do through Clover: revenue, individual payments, the state of each connection, your tax and inventory links, and your account details. Your store settings stay in your store; the dashboard is where you look at what came of them.
You sign in with Clover. The same Clover account that owns your merchant business opens the dashboard, and the sidebar on the left is the whole map.
The sidebar
| Entry | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Overview | Revenue chart, three headline numbers, and your business stats for a date range. |
| Transactions | Every payment, filterable by status and date, with a detail panel per payment. |
| API Clients | The connections between your stores and your Clover account, with their health. |
| Activity | A timeline of what happened: payments, orders, sign-ins, credentials, taxes, inventory. |
| Processing profile | How Clover is configured to process your payments. |
| Taxes | Your Clover tax rates and how your stores' rates link to them. |
| Inventory | Your Clover inventory snapshot, product links, and transfer history. |
| Account | Your merchant, employee, app, subscription, permissions, and connection details. |
Taxes and Inventory appear when your Clover plan includes them. If your plan does not, the page reads "Not included in your Clover plan" and explains that "Tax tools are not part of your current Clover plan. To use them, upgrade your plan in your Clover account. Your checkout and payments are not affected." The Inventory page says the same about inventory tools. Nothing about your checkout changes either way.
Overview
The landing page, titled Dashboard.
At the top, a date range picker with the presets This Month, Last Month, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, plus a Start Date and End Date for anything else. Everything on the page follows that range.
Revenue Overview is the chart of revenue across the range. When there is nothing to draw it says "No revenue data for this period."
Below it, three numbers, each of which is a link into a filtered Transactions view:
- Total Revenue, with View transactions.
- Transactions, the count, with View transactions.
- Success Rate, with View failed transactions.
If some payments in the range were taken in a different currency from the one the chart is drawn in, a line under the numbers names how many were excluded, so the total is never quietly mixing currencies.
Business Stats sits below, a second row scoped to the same range:
- Transactions, broken down as approved, declined and failed.
- Volume, footnoted "Gross approved volume, before refunds". When there is nothing in range: "No volume in this range."
- Declined, footnoted with how many of the real decisions were declines and noting that system failures are excluded.
- Card Brands, the volume per brand. Payments taken before brand tracking existed are named in a footnote rather than folded in silently.
Transactions
Every payment, newest first, in a table with Date, Amount, Payment, Source and Status columns.
Filter by date range and by Status: All, Succeeded, Declined, Failed, Pre-authorized, Refunded, Partially Refunded. With nothing matching, the page says "No transactions found for this period." and "Try a different date range or status filter."
Open a row and the detail shows what the payment carried: Reference #, Auth code, Order, Transaction ID, Tender, and whether the payment used a saved credential (Card on file, Recurring or saved credential). Refunds against that payment are summarized with the remaining balance.
A payment that did not go through opens a panel titled "Why this payment did not go through" with a plain-language reason, for example "The customer's card issuer refused the payment. Nothing is wrong with your store. The customer can retry with another card or contact their bank." The two top-level cases are spelled out on the status itself: a Declined payment means "The card issuer refused the payment. The customer can retry with another card. No action is needed on your side.", and a Failed payment means "The payment could not be processed for a technical reason, not a card refusal. If this repeats, contact WeeConnectPay support." Every message you can meet here is listed in Error messages: what each one means and what to do.
Payments that went through card verification carry a 3D Secure badge, expanding to Validation, Liability, Flow status, and the transaction identifiers of that check.
Activity
Titled Activity, holding the Activity Feed: a chronological record of what happened across your account.
You can read it as a Timeline or as a List, filter it by date range, and narrow it by category: Payments, Orders & returns, Sign-in & access, Tokens & credentials, Integration & app, Device authorization, Taxes, Inventory, AI assistant. With nothing recorded yet it says "No activity recorded yet."; with filters that match nothing, "No activity matches the current filters."
Each event also carries a kind, which colours its dot on the Timeline and is named in the legend under it: Payment, Order, Sign-in, Token, Device, Installed, Uninstalled, Registered, Changed, App changed, Failure, Warning, Recovered. This is the page to open when you want the sequence of what happened, rather than a single payment.
API Clients
Titled API Clients, subtitled "View your connected integrations". Each card is one store connected to your Clover account.
The page explains itself: "API clients are automatically created when you connect through your platform. No manual setup is needed." You do not create anything here. The page states its purpose plainly: "This page shows your existing API connections. If you need to disconnect an integration, you can revoke its credentials here."
Each card names the Merchant, Employee, Clover App, Domain, Platform, Version, and when it was Connected, and shows the health of the connection as one of Connected, Needs attention, Disconnected: Clover authorization expired, Disconnected: WeeConnectPay key invalid, Disconnected: app uninstalled, Disconnected, or Status unknown. Token facts sit beside it: Clover access token, Clover refresh token, API access token, each with Healthy, Expiring soon, Expired, Invalid, or None, plus when it was last used or refreshed. A Clover token permissions block lists what the connection is allowed to do on Clover, described as "What this connection is allowed to do on Clover".
Revoke disconnects the store. The confirmation says so directly: "This will immediately disconnect this integration from your Clover account. Any payments or transactions processed through this connection will stop working." and "This action cannot be undone. To reconnect, you'll need to go through the setup process again from your platform." You type DISCONNECT to confirm. If a connection simply needs re-authorizing rather than removing, reconnect from the store instead: see Reconnecting WeeConnectPay and Clover.
Processing profile
Titled Processing profile and introduced as "How WeeConnectPay processes your payments through Clover. These settings come from Clover and cannot be changed here."
This is a read-only mirror of what Clover holds for your merchant account, confirmed from Clover at your last sign-in, grouped into Currency, Security (3DS), Card verification, Fraud controls and Refunds. Between them they cover:
- Processing currency and Multiple currencies. This is the page that answers "which currency can my Clover account actually take?" when a cart in another currency fails at payment.
- 3-D Secure, 3DS provider, Liability check.
- Address verification (AVS) and the postal and street checks under it, plus CVV match and its related checks.
- Fraud controls: Extra fraud checks above, Max charges per card, Max charges per IP, Max charges (overall), Max amount per card, Max sale amount, Min sale amount, Block duplicate charges, Checkout reCAPTCHA.
- Refunds: Unmatched refund daily limit, Max refund amount, Max single refund, Max refund count, Block duplicate refunds.
A value that differs from Clover's default is flagged Customized, explained as "Customized for this merchant. Differs from Clover's default." If nothing has been confirmed yet, the page says "Your processing details are confirmed from Clover when you sign in. Sign in again to load them."
Taxes
Titled Taxes and introduced as "Your Clover tax rates and how your store's tax rates are linked to them. Links are managed from the WeeConnectPay plugin settings in your store."
Three sections, reachable as tabs: Clover tax rates, Stores, and History.
Clover tax rates is the snapshot of what Clover holds, with Name, Rate and Flags per rate, marked Synced from Clover with a last-updated time and a Refresh from Clover button. Flags name the rates that behave differently: Default, Flat fee, Deleted on Clover, Compound.
Stores shows, per connected store, its Tax forwarding mode (Off, Amount only, Automatic, Linked rates only, Full attribution) and the table of links: Store rate, Clover rate, Status, Linked via, Last verified. A link's status is Linked, Rate mismatch, Deleted on Clover, Deleted in store, or Unknown, and each unhealthy status carries its own explanation of what it means, what it affects, and what to do. The invariant is stated on the page: "Taxes are always calculated and charged by WooCommerce. No mode can block a payment." What the modes do is covered in How WeeConnectPay reports your taxes to Clover; how to create the links is in Linking your tax rates to Clover.
A Rate coverage panel compares both sides and names what has no working pairing, under "On Clover, not linked to this store" and "In the store, without a working Clover pairing". When everything pairs, it says "Every rate is paired. Nothing is missing on either side."
History is the recent tax activity: rate syncs, link changes, and forwarding outcomes.
Inventory
Titled Inventory and introduced as "Your Clover inventory snapshot and how your store's products are linked to Clover items. Links are managed from the WeeConnectPay plugin settings in your store."
Four sections, reachable as tabs: Clover inventory, Stores, Transfers, and History.
Clover inventory counts Items on Clover and Deleted on Clover, and shows the Stock tracking and Stock updates on orders flags, with the same Synced from Clover marker and Refresh from Clover button as the Taxes page.
Stores shows each store's Inventory sync mode (Off, Observe, Pull stock, Two-way) and its product links: Store product, Clover item, Clover stock, Status, Linked via, Last verified. Each mode carries its own explanation, and the invariant is the same as taxes: "No mode can block a payment." The plugin settings in your store name the same four modes Off, Preview only, Follow Clover and Two-way: same modes, different wording on the two screens. The behaviour behind them is covered in How inventory sync works, and mismatched counts in Stock doesn't match: what to check.
Transfers lists the bulk import and export runs, "Import and export runs that move products between your store and Clover. Transfers are started from the WeeConnectPay plugin in your store.", with Direction (Store to Clover, Clover to store), Progress, Details, and Last update. A run reads Queued, In progress, Completed, Completed with issues, Failed, or Canceled, and each skipped or failed item names its own reason.
A section titled "Items created in your Clover catalog" groups the items an export added to Clover by the store that created them, and is explicit about what it does not do: "Nothing here changes or removes anything."
History is the recent inventory activity: syncs, drift, and stock changes.
Account
Titled Account, in four tabs: Overview, Permissions, Connection, Technical.
Overview carries Account Details: Merchant Name and Merchant ID, the Employee and Employee ID the connection was made under, the App and App ID, plus Phone, Website and Owner where Clover holds them.
Subscription shows your plan. A plan with no monthly cost reads No monthly fee, and per-transaction pricing is shown as a fee per transaction where one applies, with the note "Per-transaction fees may apply. See your plan on the Clover App Market." The page also states where the money flows: "Your WeeConnectPay fees are billed by Clover and appear on your Clover statement." and "The per-transaction fee is charged once per successful payment." The full picture is in WeeConnectPay fees on your Clover statement.
Permissions lists what your Clover connection is allowed to do, counted as granted out of total.
Connection shows Clover API Connected with "Your session is authenticated and the API connection is healthy.", the Active Tokens with their last use and last refresh, and Recent Token Refreshes.
Technical holds the identifiers you would quote to support.
Times and date ranges follow your timezone
Every timestamp on the dashboard is rendered in the timezone of the device you are reading it on, taken from your browser. A payment at 9:12 in the evening in Montreal reads as 9:12 in the evening when you open the dashboard in Montreal.
The same zone is used for the date ranges you pick. When you choose Last 7 Days, or a start and end date, the day boundaries and the daily buckets on the chart are the days where you are, not somewhere else. That is why the Overview chart, the Business Stats row, and a filtered Transactions list all agree with each other for the same range.
Two consequences worth knowing:
- If you travel, or open the dashboard from a device set to a different timezone, the same payment can display at a different clock time, and a payment near midnight can fall in the neighbouring day of a range. Nothing about the payment changed.
- Your Clover reporting has its own timezone setting on Clover's side. When a day's totals differ by one or two payments between the two, a near-midnight payment landing in different days is the first thing to check.
Relative times appear on some rows as just now, minutes, hours or days ago, and Never where nothing has happened yet.
Language, theme and signing out
The dashboard is bilingual. The language control at the top switches between EN and FR, and the whole interface follows, including the explanations quoted throughout this article.
The theme control offers Light, Dark and System, where System follows what your device is set to.
Logout sits at the bottom of the sidebar. If you are away long enough, the dashboard signs you out on its own and says "Your session has ended due to inactivity. Sign in again to continue where you left off.", with a Sign in again button that brings you back where you were.
If a page shows you something this tour does not explain, email support@weeconnectpay.com with a screenshot and we will walk you through it.
