WeeConnectPay does not bill you directly. Your WeeConnectPay fees are billed by Clover and appear on your Clover statement, alongside Clover's own charges. This article explains which lines are ours, what triggers them, and what each plan costs.

This covers the WeeConnectPay app on the Clover App Market, our Clover integration for WooCommerce stores. For our Zoho or PrestaShop integrations, email support@weeconnectpay.com and we will point you to the right figures for your app.

Two different things on one statement

Clover's payment processing fees are what Clover takes for moving the money: the percentage and per-transaction cost set in your Clover merchant agreement. Those are between you and Clover.

WeeConnectPay's fees are the subject of this article: a monthly subscription on the plans that have one, and a per-transaction fee on each successful payment.

The plans

Prices are in USD for United States merchants and in CAD for Canadian merchants, at the same figures.

The plan picker offers Basic, Standard and Advanced. Some stores are on a Standard (FREE) plan, which is not offered in the picker; if your Account page shows it, that is your plan.

Plan Monthly Per transaction
Basic $0.00 $1.00
Standard $29.99 $0.10
Standard (FREE) $0.00 No per-transaction fee
Advanced $79.95 $0.10

Basic and Standard differ by a monthly subscription and a per-transaction amount, so which one totals less on your statement depends on how many payments you take in a month. The numbers above are all the inputs that calculation needs, and your current plan is shown on your WeeConnectPay dashboard and in the Clover App Market.

Advanced costs more per month than Standard and charges the same $0.10 per payment. What the extra monthly amount buys is stock syncing: the Follow Clover and Two-way modes, and catalog transfers from your store into Clover. If you are weighing that up, Which WeeConnectPay plan do I need compares what each plan includes.

Why the plan picker lists two per-transaction fees

When you install the app from the Clover App Market, the plan picker lists both the $0.10 and the $1.00 per-transaction fee under every plan, which reads as though both apply to every sale.

Only one of them is ever triggered. Clover authorizes every per-transaction fee an app can charge at install time, for all plans at once, because plans and per-transaction fees are separate concepts in Clover's app model. Which of the two fires is decided by WeeConnectPay from the plan you are on: $1.00 on Basic, $0.10 on Standard and on Advanced, and none on Standard (FREE).

What triggers a per-transaction fee

The fee is charged once per successful payment, whatever the amount. A $10 sale and a $500 sale cost the same on a given plan.

Action Per-transaction fee
A successful payment Charged once
A hold placed with Hold and charge later Charged once, when the hold is placed
Capturing that hold later Nothing further. The hold and its capture are one fee, not two
A refund or a return Charged as its own action, and the fee on the original sale stays as it was
A declined or failed attempt Nothing. No money moved, so nothing is billed
A payment recorded with a custom tender, such as a gift card or store credit Nothing. Those are not payments we processed

A sale that is later refunded therefore carries two per-transaction fees on your statement: one for the sale, one for the refund.

The 14-day trial

The app comes with a 14-day trial period. The trial covers the subscription. Per-transaction fees are metered separately and accrue from your first transaction, trial or not.

Where to check your own plan

Open the Account page in your WeeConnectPay dashboard. The Subscription section names your current plan, its monthly price or No monthly fee, and the per-transaction amount that applies to it. The same section carries a Billed through Clover note: your WeeConnectPay fees are billed by Clover and appear on your Clover statement, and the per-transaction fee is charged once per successful payment.

Your plan is also shown on the WeeConnectPay listing in the Clover App Market. To move to a different plan, email support@weeconnectpay.com and we will walk you through it for your merchant account.

Where these fees apply

WeeConnectPay serves merchants in the United States and Canada, and the plans above are configured for both countries.

If a line on your Clover statement does not match what this article describes, email support@weeconnectpay.com with the statement month and the line as it appears, and we will reconcile it against what was billed for your merchant account.
