Every WeeConnectPay plan takes card payments on your store the same way. What changes between them is how you are billed, and whether stock syncing between Clover and your store is included. This article covers what you get on each plan, what each costs, and how to pick.

What every plan includes

These are on every plan, including the ones with no monthly fee:

Card payments on your store, with the transaction mode you choose (Charge at checkout, Hold and charge later, or Order and charge). Refunds, voids and returns. 3-D Secure, if you turn it on. Tax reporting to Clover, in whichever forwarding mode you pick. Linking your products to your Clover items. The Off and Preview only stock sync modes, so you can rehearse stock syncing and check your product links before paying for anything.

What the Advanced plan adds

Two things, both about stock:

The stock-moving sync modes. Follow Clover and Two-way are included with Advanced only. These are the modes where a paid web order tells Clover which item sold, so Clover updates its own stock and sales reports, and where counts move between the two systems. Off and Preview only stay free on every plan.

Catalog transfers. The Inventory Tools page, which brings your store's products into your Clover catalog in bulk, needs Advanced. Without it the page says "Inventory transfers need a subscription upgrade" and keeps your selection, so you can upgrade and submit again without picking everything a second time.

What each plan costs

Prices are in USD for United States merchants and in CAD for Canadian merchants, at the same figures.

Plan Monthly Per transaction Stock syncing and catalog transfers
Basic $0.00 $1.00 Not included
Standard $29.99 $0.10 Not included
Advanced $79.95 $0.10 Included

Some stores are on a Standard (FREE) plan, which has no monthly fee and no per-transaction fee. It is not one of the plans the picker offers, so you will not see it there. If your Account page shows it, that is your plan and nothing here changes it.

The per-transaction fee is charged once per successful payment, whatever the amount, and a refund is its own billable action. Your WeeConnectPay fees are billed by Clover and appear on your Clover statement, never billed by us directly. The full breakdown of what lands on that statement is in WeeConnectPay fees on your Clover statement.

Working out which one costs less

If you do not need stock syncing, the choice is between Basic and Standard, and it comes down to how many payments you take in a month.

Basic has no monthly fee but charges $1.00 per payment. Standard charges a monthly fee and $0.10 per payment. The two even out at roughly 34 payments a month: below that Basic usually totals less, above it Standard does, and the further past it you go the wider the gap.

If you do want stock syncing, there is no volume calculation to make. Follow Clover and Two-way are on Advanced and nowhere else, so the question is whether keeping your Clover stock and your store in step is worth the monthly difference to you. The per-transaction fee is the same $0.10 on Advanced as on Standard, so the only change on your statement is the monthly amount.

Not sure whether you need stock syncing

Turn on Preview only first. It is free on every plan and it is a genuine rehearsal: each order reports what syncing would have done, without changing anything in Clover or in your store. It is the honest way to find out whether your product links are in good shape and whether the result is worth paying for, before you upgrade.

What each mode does, and what it deliberately leaves alone, is covered in Inventory sync modes: what each one does.

Two different plans, and only one of them is ours

This trips people up, so it is worth being plain about it.

Your WeeConnectPay plan is the one this article is about: Basic, Standard or Advanced. You pick it in the Clover App Market, and it decides your fees and whether stock syncing is included.

Your Clover plan is Clover's own, and it decides which Clover features your account has at all. If your Clover plan does not include Clover's inventory or tax features, the Inventory and Taxes pages of your WeeConnectPay dashboard say "Not included in your Clover plan" and point you at your Clover account, not at us. Your checkout and payments are not affected either way.

So a message about upgrading in your Clover account is about Clover's plan, and a message naming the Advanced plan is about your WeeConnectPay plan. Upgrading one does not change the other.

How to change your plan

Your current plan is shown in the Account page of your WeeConnectPay dashboard, under Subscription, and in the Clover App Market listing for WeeConnectPay.

To change it, open the WeeConnectPay listing in your Clover App Market and pick the plan you want, the same way you picked your current one. If you would rather have us walk you through it for your merchant account, email support@weeconnectpay.com.

After upgrading to Advanced, your store picks the change up on its own. If you want it right away instead of waiting, open the Inventory tab in your WeeConnectPay settings and click I've upgraded: re-check my plan, and the stock-moving modes become selectable. A mode you had already chosen and could not use is kept, so it starts working without you picking it again.
